Shea's Performing Arts Center
Recognized as one of the very few working theatres of its kind, Shea’s Performing Arts Center is an award-winning National Historic Site providing a wide variety of live performing arts experiences every year.
Originally a movie house under the direction of Mr. Michael Shea, the architecture-rich theatre first opened its doors in 1926. And with ongoing restoration, its elegance and grandeur remain today. In addition to the many Broadway shows it hosts every year, many great performers have graced the stage at Shea’s, including Frank Sinatra, The Marx Brothers and Bing Crosby.
Shea’s is a nonprofit organization and relies on the support of individuals, corporations and foundations. As a major donor and the presenting sponsor of the M&T Bank Broadway Series, we are proud to support such a historically-rich piece of our community.
